Development Leader Job Summary Manroc Developments is seeking an experienced Development Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be expected to utilize an underground jumbo drill to conduct lateral incline and decline ramp development. Additional underground development services (mechanized bolting, LHD operation, etc.) may be required for the purpose of project completion. The individual must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to achieving production goals with safety as their main objective. 14/14 rotation at a drive-in site. Working 11 hour shifts rotating between days and nights. Qualifications
  • Must have previous work experience on a Jumbo
  • Must possess Ontario Common Core transcripts
    • Must have Ontario Common Core module U0089
  • Good communication skills; both verbal and written
  Accountabilities
  • Ensure you and your team members follow all Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Ensure you lead by example using the 5-point safety system, field level risk assessments and addressing all JHS concerns.
  • Ensure the use of the Internal Responsibility System with yourself and team members.
  • Ensure all hazards are reported in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • Complete and distribute all necessary development work based on priorities.
  • Assist and coach team members in completing all scheduled activities
  • Coordinate the return of all unused materials to proper storage locations. This also includes proper housekeeping of work areas.

Scoop Operator Job Summary The Scoop Operator will be required to use LHD and Haulage equipment in a safe, efficient manner. The operator is responsible for conducting pre-operational checks of the equipment. This position also entails support duties as required for project completion. The selected candidate will report directly to their designated supervisor and complete the daily safety and work line-ups that are provided by said supervisor. 14/14 rotation - days and nights - 10.5 hour shifts Qualifications
  • Previous underground experience required
