Scoop Operator Job Summary The Scoop Operator will be required to use LHD and Haulage equipment in a safe, efficient manner. The operator is responsible for conducting pre-operational checks of the equipment. This position also entails support duties as required for project completion. The selected candidate will report directly to their designated supervisor and complete the daily safety and work line-ups that are provided by said supervisor. 14/14 rotation - days and nights - 10.5 hour shifts Qualifications
  • Previous underground experience required
  • Ontario Underground Hard Rock Common Core
    • Must have modules U0068A, U0068B and remote U0020

  • Ensure you follow all Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Ensure tasks are performed safely and efficiently while performing activities such as (but not limited to) mucking and installing services.
  • Must comply with all Manroc and client policies, procedures and standards.
  • Ensure that all goals and targets are met to guarantee success of the project while staying focused on safety.
  • Ensure all hazards are reported in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • Ensure the return of all unused materials to proper storage locations. This also includes proper housekeeping of work areas.

Development Miner (Jackleg/Stoper - Bolting off Deck) Job Summary The Development Miner is expected to perform a range of duties including scaling, mucking, installing ground support and/or reinforcement using shotcrete, drift excavation (face drilling, loading and blasting). The successful individual must exhibit a safety approach and ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned duties. Schedule - 14/14 rotating between days and nights - 10.5 hour shifts Qualifications
  • Ontario Underground Hard Rock Common Core
    • Must have Modules U0004, U0005 and U0006

Development Leader Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Development Leader performs all duties/activities associated with development mining. 14/14 rotation - days and nights - 10.5 hour shifts
  • You will be expected to utilize an underground jumbo drill (282) to conduct lateral incline and decline ramp development. Additional underground development services (mechanized bolting, LHD operation, etc.) may be required for the purpose of project completion.

The Mechanic is expected to work as part of a team to troubleshoot issues and find a solution in a safe, efficient manner. They must exhibit strong attention to detail and comprehension of written and verbal instructions distributed by the Lead Mechanic.
