Sill/Sub/Raise Miners Job Summary The Sill/Sub/Raise Miner is expected to perform a range of duties including scaling, mucking, installing ground support and/or reinforcement using shotcrete, drift excavation (face drilling, loading and blasting). The successful individual must exhibit a safety approach and ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned duties. Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Alimak/Raise climber machines
  • Ontario Underground Hard Rock Common Core
    • Must have Modules U0004, U0005 and U0006
    • Module U0064 an asset
  • Previous Jackleg/Stoper experience required
  • Ability to read and understand designed ground support plans
  • Willingness to conduct pre-access testing as a condition of employment
    • Testing requirements are based on the client’s site requirements
      • Drug and alcohol test at gate
  Accountabilities:
  • Ensure you follow all Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Ensure tasks are performed safely and efficiently while performing activities such as (but not limited to) drifting, slashing, drilling rounds, blasting, ground support/bolting, drilling production holes, mucking and installing services.
  • Must comply with all Manroc and client policies, procedures and standards.
  • Ensure that all goals and targets are met to guarantee success of the project while staying focused on safety.
  • Ensure all hazards are reported in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • Ensure the return of all unused materials to proper storage locations. This also includes proper housekeeping of work areas.

Job Summary Manroc Developments is seeking an experienced Jumbo Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be expected to utilize an underground jumbo drill to conduct lateral incline and decline ramp development. Additional underground development services (mechanized bolting, LHD operation, etc.) may be required for the purpose of project completion. The individual must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to achieving production goals with safety as their main objective. Qualifications
  • Must have previous work experience on a Jumbo
  • Must possess Ontario Common Core transcripts
    • Must have Ontario Common Core module U0089
  • Willingness to conduct pre-access testing as a condition of employment
    • Testing requirements are based on the client’s site requirements
      • Potential drug and alcohol test / criminal record check / medical
    • Good communication skills; both verbal and written

MacLean Bolter Job Summary The MacLean Bolter is required to operate a mechanized bolter in a safe, efficient manner that is dedicated to achieving production goals. Their duties include development and rehab tasks involved with mechanized bolting and ground support installation. The successful candidate will be required to report directly to their designated supervisor. They must comply in accordance with the daily safety and work line up provided by the supervisor. Qualifications
