This role plays a key part in maintaining production flow by supporting daily underground activities in a safe, organized, and efficient manner. The successful candidate will report directly to the designated Supervisor and participate in daily safety meetings and work line-ups as assigned.

Jumbo Operator
Job Summary
Manroc Developments is currently seeking an experienced Jumbo Operator to join our underground development team. The successful candidate will operate an underground jumbo drill (282 Boomer) to carry out lateral, incline, and decline ramp development.
In addition to drilling operations, the role may also involve supporting other underground development activities such as mechanized bolting and LHD operation to assist in project completion.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment where safety, efficiency, and quality are top priorities.

Qualifications

The Raise Miner is responsible for completing underground raise installations and constructing mechanized raise set-ups using Alimak/Raise Climber equipment. Duties include scaling loose rock, drilling, loading and blasting, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and productivity. The successful candidate must be able to read and interpret mine plans, follow written and verbal instructions, and work efficiently in a fast-paced underground environment.

Rehab Miner
Job Summary
The Rehab Miner is responsible for performing a variety of underground rehabilitation duties, including scaling, mucking, drift excavation drilling, installing ground support systems, and applying shotcrete in active rehabilitation areas. This role involves working in old mine workings, ramps, and other underground environments while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Key responsibilities include operating jackleg and stoper drills to complete rehabilitation work safely and efficiently, installing and repairing ground support systems such as bolts, mesh, and screening, and scaling loose ground to ensure a safe and stable workplace. The successful candidate will also assist with development-related tasks, perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance, and communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to meet daily operational goals.
