Long Hole Drillers – Musselwhite

The long hole driller is responsible for drilling production blast holes. The driller will prepare and drill the face according to the drill layout as assigned by the designated supervisor. The successful applicant will exhibit comprehension of written and verbal instructions necessary to perform their duties in a safe, efficient manner as outlined by company policies and government regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Alimak experience is required for this position
  • Ontario Hard Rock Underground Common Core
  • Experience operating an ITH or Mechanized Long Hole Drill
  • Ability to work part of a team and independently
  • Willingness to conduct pre-access drug testing as a condition of employment

Location: Musselwhite Mine Site

Schedule: 2 weeks in, 2 weeks out; 11 hour shifts

Wage:

  • Determined based on experience
  • Bonus is dependent upon production
