Development Miner (Jackleg/Stoper)

Job Summary

Manroc is seeking experienced and safety-focused Development Miners (Jackleg/Stoper) to join our underground mining team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of underground development duties including scaling, mucking, installing ground support and reinforcement systems, applying shotcrete, and completing drift excavation activities such as face drilling, loading, and blasting.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and the efficient completion of assigned tasks in a fast-paced underground environment.

Schedule & Site Information

• 14/14 rotation – Days & Nights
• Drive-in site only
• 11-hour shifts

Qualifications

• Ontario Underground Hard Rock Common Core certification
• Previous Jackleg/Stoper experience required
• Ability to read and interpret ground support plans and designs
• Strong understanding of underground safety procedures and best practices
• Willingness to complete pre-access testing as a condition of employment
