The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for providing HR support to the HR Manager with a focus on recruitment, new employee onboarding and training. The Human Resources Assistant will ensure all programs, personal actions and approaches support Manroc’s goals and follow Manroc’s Cardinal Controls. Key Accountabilities:
  • Work with HR Manager to provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics.
  • Assist in proactive recruiting strategies by creating and maintaining attractive and effective job postings and descriptions and participating in job fairs and community events.
  • Assist HR Manager in seeking out qualified candidates for a variety of employee positions.
  • Support organizational HR strategies and initiatives of Recruitment, Retention, Onboarding and Recognition programs for all employees.
  • Ensure all necessary HR forms and documents are received from Managers/Employees and changes are entered into Human Resources System and filed in appropriate employee file.
  • Assist HR Manager in supporting the administration of the employee termination/resignation process.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Human Resources or Assistant role an asset.
  • Must be proficient in word, excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work independently or as a team.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast changing environment.

Job Summary The role of the underground mechanic is to provide preventative maintenance and repairs to Alimak, diesel, electrical, hydraulic and air operated equipment. The mechanic is expected to work as part of a team to troubleshoot issues and find a solution in a safe, efficient manner.
